Welcome to the Ag Certification Network!

The Ag Certification Network is a project initiated by the Indian River Citrus League to help Florida citrus growers track the prevalence of Caribbean fruit fly, citrus canker and greening diseases. This web site provides complete project tracking and accountability features, including our proposals, reports, data, news and budgets. Our special thanks go to the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service for supporting our project, the Indian River Citrus League for sponsoring us, and to the hard-working Caribbean Fruit Fly Protocol staff at the Division of Plant Industry for their contributions to this work.

Citrus Canker Disease
Citrus canker is a devastating disease of citrus that affects primarily crops targeted for the fresh markets It causes unsightly lesions on leaves, fruits and stems. Consumers do not prefer citrus showing these lesions, making it difficult to sell.

Citrus Greening Disease
Citrus greening disease is a tree-killing disease of citrus caused by a phloem-limited bacterium. It results in rapid tree decline and death, resulting in lost crops, reduced quality and ultimately, loss of investment.
